N.B. The Venue page will be restructured in the near future, however the core idea behind it will remain the same.
The Venue list makes it easy for you to manage your venues. All theaters are different. Some have one large stage, while others may have smaller stages scattered around their city. The venue system is designed to accommodate as many situations as possible. How you use it is largely up to you, but this article is dedicated to walking you through the basics.
1. Creating a Venue
Creating a Venue is as simple as navigating to the Venue page and clicking "Create another venue". From there, you simply need to fill out the information fields. Below is a quick walkthrough of what each field is, and how it is used within the system.
Title
The title of your theatre can be whatever you want it to be, as it is not tied to real world information. You can use this as an opportunity to create different scenes or classrooms within the same venue, as you can have multiple venues with the same address, but different titles. The title of the venue will be used on your Storefront, as well as on the Tickets that are sent to your customers.
Address
Our address system is tied to Google Maps, as well as to your Country in Theatre Settings. What this means, is that there are two requirements for your address to be found in our system.
One, that it exists on Google Maps. Two, that the address is in the Country you selected in Theatre Settings.
Your address will be used somewhat similarly to the Title, but will typically only be presented to your customer on their tickets.
Wayfinding Instructions
Wayfinding Instructions are a way for you to explain details of how to find your theatre entrance, stage or classroom. They will be presented on your customers Tickets, as a way to guide them to the right place.

2. Editing a Venue
Editing a Venue can be done from the Venue page, where all Venues are displayed. There is no need to click confirm anywhere - it will save automatically.
